Dr. Levine is trained to diagnose and treat patients with diseases and disorders of the ears, nose, throat, and related areas of the head and neck. These disorders can affect the sinuses, larynx (voice box), upper pharynx (mouth and throat), as well as face and neck structures. Dr. Levine can treat and manage these problems for both children and adults.

The Ears

Hearing loss is one of the most common ENT issues in the world. Approximately 20 percent of Americans (48 million people!) report some degree of hearing loss. Approximately one in every three people 65 and older suffer from hearing loss. The good news is that it is treatable and manageable for nearly every patient both young and old. The advancements in hearing aid technology and surgical procedures can dramatically improve even the worst hearing loss.

In addition to hearing loss, Dr. Levine is trained to diagnose, treat, and manage other ear disorders including vertigo and dizziness, infections, ear clogging, tinnitus, ear wax impaction, and more. The Nose

Millions of Americans suffers from stuffy noses, runny noses, bloody noses, and post nasal drip. These can often cause snoring and poor sleeping. Allergies, infections, chronic sinusitis, and deviated nasal septums are the common underlying causes. Deviated septums can be fixed with simple outpatient surgery.

The Throat

Sore throats, tonsillitis, chronic throat clearing, hoarseness, and swallowing trouble are commonly encountered.  Underlying causes can vary but include allergies, acid reflux, infections, and cancers.  Swallowing difficulties and obstructive sleep apnea are frequently encountered.  Accurate diagnoses including fiberoptic scoping  is needed to provide effective treatments.
